Boy Scout Troop 103 meets here. They have been continually chartered since 1913 and is the oldest Troop in the Commonwealth of Virginia. There is a flag hanging in the basement of Williamsburg United Methodist Church that was presented to the Troop by President Calvin Coolage. This troop is very traditional in that it is truly boy run, with the older more experienced Scouts teaching the younger Scouts. There is a high rate of quality Eagle Scouts due to the adult leadership volunteers that help these boys to set goals and work hard to achieve them.
