Located on the northern most end of Wilder Dr. SE, north of Mt. Vernon Rd., you'll find an access point to this section of Sac & Fox Trail. 7.2 miles in length, this well maintained trail runs along Indian Creek and is not only a gorgeous place for an afternoon hike, jog, or bike ride, it is teeming with wildlife. Chances are if you use a little bit of stealth you will come across deer, rabbits, and squirrels at some point in your journey along the trail, not to mention being serenaded by a variety of birds and the sounds of the creek.
A great place to spend the afternoon hiking with the family or for some peaceful solitude, you'll find this trail is fairly flat. The trail might be muddy in spots after a heavy rain and Indian Creek is known for flooding as well, so keep this in mind if we are under a flood warning.
