This cache is located in a local park that is near to a2n's heart. Depending on the season, you'll get your feet wet, but not much above your ankles. Be aware that high water in the park may make this cache temporarily inaccessible. There is a tree stand not too far away near the private property fence line, so wear blaze orange when in season. You'll be able to park close to GZ, but remember the best route is not always a straight line. If the weather is nice, you'll likely hear the "blasting" from the nearby gun range, but take heart, it's over .51 miles away and they're aiming in a totally different direction!
The cache is a golden ammo can and there's a special prize for the FTF.
SEAM Smiley and I have many good caching memories with a2n... an American Gothic experience, MOGA 2012, Woodpecker Picnic, and a spur-of-the-moment Leap Day caching run in the winter snow being among the favorites. Oh, and she packs an AWESOME lunch if you're ever lucky enough to share!
When you log this cache, please share a favorite caching experience with a2n or tell us about one of your favorite caches of hers that you've found. Being the artist that she is, a2n always places quality caches with a touch of whimsy and an artistic flair that carries over to her well-stocked swag. SEAM and I love to "go shopping" when one of a2n's caches comes out!
Congrats, Ann, on hitting your 1000th milestone and for being such a great addition to the geocaching community!
