This cache IS NOT at the posted coordinates. Please read the description and solve questions to find coordinates for actual cache container. Cache is located on Blackwater State Forest with permission from the Department of Forestry.


Okaloosa comes from the Choctaw words "oka" (meaning water) and "lusa" (meaning black).

This cache is located somewhere along the Blackwater River for that reason. However, since Blackwater River runs more than 20 miles through Okaloosa County we thought it might be helpful to narrow down the geocache's location at little more.

The Air Force Armament Museum has several aircraft on display as well as bombs, missiles, and a huge display of firearms. The SR-71 display will always make kids, and adults alike, become starry eyed. The B-52, AC-130, and A-10 are all displayed beautifully up front. The F-15 and F-4 are among other fighter jets, bombers, cargo plans, surveillance, helicopters, and experimental aircraft are poised for patron gawking there as well. Many of these aircraft were able to reach transonic speeds but only one was called Sabre Jet. Find the numerical designation for this aircraft and you will be one step closer to solving this geocache. The Sabre Jet was also called the F-____.
