Located in Kinnickinnic State Park. Be sure to have a daily pass or yearly sticker. Take the main park road all the way to the end where you’ll find ample parking (see coordinates below). From here, walk down the access road/trail to the bottom. The hike will be more pleasant and will give you good access to the cache. Regular size cache that should be accessible most times of year. The trail going down to the beach (and river) is multi-use.
This is a great spot for a picnic in the summer, with plenty of picnic tables, room to play, and a nice beach on the St. Croix River. If you’re coming via watercraft, you can park your craft on the sand near the beach. To the south of the beach is the Kinni Delta area, which is a great place to play in the sand. There is also a great trail system at the top of this park, so be sure to check them out.
Enjoy the area!

2013 kicks off the beginning of the Wisconsin Geocaching Association State Parks series. It is our goal to place a geocache in every state park in the state of Wisconsin so watch out for more in this series that encourages geocachers to explore the natural resources in this beautiful state of ours.
The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Aaron Mason, Kinnickinnic State Park Supervisor. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager. The DNR Notification form and land manager information can be obtained at the Wisconsin DNR website.
