Interstate State Park is Wisconsin’s oldest state park. Located along the picturesque St. Croix National Scenic Riverway, the park provides scenic views of the river and the steep-sided gorge known as the Dalles of the St. Croix. The Ice Age Interpretive Center features a film, photographs, murals, and information about the great glaciers.
This cache will bring you near a small lake inside the park. There is a great nature trail that goes around the lake, a nice beach, and several places to fish. There are also some buildings and remnants of days gone by that were once the work of the Civilian Conservation Corps, which did a lot of work here in the 1930's. A nice sized cache awaits with room for trackables and trade items. Have fun!

The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to the park manager at Interstate State Park. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager.
