På 90-talet vart bygget seld til kommunen. Det vart pussa opp og vert no nytta som eit kulturbygg med konsertar, utstillingar, kafékveldar i tillegg til at det blir leigd ut til private selskap.

The old spinning mill was built in the early 1870s. As the name implies, it was first used for spinning yarn from wool. However, it has been the location for many other enterprises in the following years such has school of handcraft, chair production, blacksmith, conservation, clog factory, fruit sorting and finally as a woodcraft workshop. The local council bought the building in the 90s and renovated it. It is now used as a multipurpose building, frequently used for concerts, art exhibitions, café evenings, as well as for private events.
