Geocache Description:

This recently constructed bridge was built with all volunteer labor with little to know cost to the City of Sparta. Funding sources included the Recreation Trails Act Grants from the DNR and the Monroe County Snowmobile Club.

This bridge replaced the old snowmobile bridge that was in poor condition. The City of Sparta is excited to have this new addition to the park and will soon be replace the bridge to the north. Please take some time to read the plaques that are on the four pillars with addional information regarding the bridge.
