This cache was created and hidden by the Mount Stuart Cub Scouts in 2012 as an introduction to geocaching. The cache is in the Knocklofty reserve which is within walking distance of the Mount Stuart Scout Hall and near a second cache (Cached by Cubs2) that was also hidden by the cubs. A number of cubs provided the contents of the cache for swapping, including some traditional cub badges and woggles. Each year the cub pack will revisit the cache so the "old" cubs can see who else has found the cache and how the contents has changed, as well as introducing the new cubs to geocaching.
The cache can be found either by walking from the West Hobart end of the Knocklofty reserve, accessed from Forest Road, or from the very top of Mount Stuart Road. The access tracks have had a lot of work done in 2012 and 2013 and are excellent, with some amazing rock work in spots (check out the steps about the water tank at the very very top of Mount Stuart Road). The cache is in a small plastic container hidden at cub height (on the ground!) not far from the track.
