Three crime families have joined forces to create a vast underworld syndicate. They are led by the notorious Geno "John" Amato. The supply and demand for illegal goods and services is undermining public morals, neutralizing law enforcement through corruption, and infiltrating the legal economy. Local law enforcement has been unable to reduce the threat. Appropriate countermeasures must be taken!

Relentless. Aggressive. And, sly! Damasso could have been Governor of the state if he had taken the time to run. A smile and a glad hand extended, Damasso is in the public eye, but has arranged his "business ventures" in a creative way to cut all personal ties to the operation. Nonetheless, everyone knows that he is running the show. There's no doubt, just no proof. His contacts in local politics are said to extend all the way to the Federal level, but again, no concrete proof to prosecute him for any wrongdoing. Damasso will likely become the next Syndicate Boss, if John Amato, Jr struggles in gaining support with the Delveccio's.

Length:	26 miles

Surface:	smooth, compacted crushed limestone ideal for bicycling
Grade:	1 percent maximum (1 foot rise for 100 feet traveled)
Fee:	$2.10 per day or $10.25 per year for persons aged 12 through 62, $5.50 per year for persons 63 and older, family pass $25.50.
Trail Tickets:	Sold by area sports and bicycle stores, businesses adjacent to trail, and self-registration tubes located at the trail parking lots.
Winter Use:	Snowmobiling from Dubuque to Dyersville, minimum of 4" of snow required. X-Country skiing from Dubuque to Dyersville.
Interpretive Sites:	Major interpretive area overlooks eastern trailhead.
Trail Rules:	No horses, motorized vehicles, fires, camping, unleashed dogs, or use after 10:30 p.m. Additional Dubuque County Conservation Board rules apply to the trail. Trail hours are sunrise to sunset year round unless otherwise posted.
