This is a great location for sunset views. You'll start on Sheridan Lake Rd. You're very close to the starting point once passing Victoria Lake Rd. Plate marker from Sheridan Lake Rd. is 433-1D. There is good parking off the road. Sheridan Lake Rd. to site is approximate 0.8 mile walk. Steady incline trail that goes through three separate meadows before reaching final destination. You will cross two forestry gates to get to the site. We encourage you to listen to ZZ Top song "cheap sunglasses" and Corey Hart song "I wear my sunglasses" before going. The songs will put you in the mood for the discovery. Once at the site you will be in a meadow that overlooks a beautiful ridge to the west. Sunsets are fantastic here along the ridge just a short walk away. Visitors are invited to leave a pair of sunglasses or take a pair.
