#3 of the Emmet County Town Series. Armstrong, formerly known as Armstrong Grove, had a population of 926 as of the 2010 census. Armstrong also has a building near it, Thomsen Round Barn, that was built in 1912 and has been listed with the National Register of Historic Places since 1986.
