Geocache Description:

This is the first in a series of caches that will challenge not only your cache sense but also your puzzle and observation skills.

The cache is not at the published coordinates. What you will find there is a car park. Whilst you can use this inexpensive (free on Sundays) place to park when doing these caches you should be able to find parking on the surrounding roads as well although in some places restrictions are in force at certain times.

The Street Name Scrambles will test not only your ability to find caches but also your anagram solving and observational skills. In order to find the cache you will need to first solve the anagram that appears in the title of this cache. The answer will be the street where you will find the clues to the final coordinates. The street is residential and located within a short distance of the published coordinates.

When you travel to the street you will need to collect the following pieces of information and then feed them into the coordinate formula below

A. At the busy end of this street on the corner is a building that used to be a bank. You must find the three digit number of this building and then add the first two digits together to give you the value for A.
B. Nearby to the building, as mentioned above, you will find a blue telecoms cabinet with a two digit number on it, this is the value for B.
C. House number 35 has a patterned window depicting a number of roses. The number of roses is the value for C.
D. Close to lamp post number 8 you will find a house called Minhas. The number of this house is the value for D.
E. 69 has a low wall outside it. Count the square holes in the wall, you should end up with a two digit number. Add the two digits together to give you the value for E.
F. Locate lamp post number 13 and where you see the "H" the lower of the two numbers is the value for F
G. The total number of lamp posts on this street is the value for G.
H. The last digit of the highest house number on this street is the value for H.

The cache can be found at...
N51 40.(B+F-C)(A-H)
W000 23.(G/C)((D+E)*C)

You will find some bonus numbers on the inside of the lid of the container, please keep these for the bonus cache, SNS006 Bonus (GC4TNMQ).

If you have not done so already you might like to take a look at SNS002 NEVER BUY EAR (GC4Q7EJ), SNS003 NEWT HAST LUCK (GC4T13X ), SNS004 ROD SUES SAX(GC4T14P) and SNS005 DETER TIGERS (GC4TM9D) all of which are within walking distance of this cache.

Congratulations go to The Bongtwashes for getting the FTF
