Geocaching in Space Event

"Geocaching is honored to be returning to space in the form of a Geocaching Travel Bug aboard a Nov. 6th rocket launch to the International Space Station. American astronaut Rick Mastracchio will be carrying the Travel Bug and 11 hitchhikers into orbit for his 6 month stay aboard the ISS. Mastracchio will be using the Travel Bug as an educational tool to help teach students around the world about geography and provide other educational lessons."

Am 7. November 2013, 04:08 UTC startet das Sojus-Raumschiffs zu einem Flug zur ISS. Mit an Board ist der Astronaut Rick Mastracchio, welcher nicht nur einen Travel Bug mit sich führt, sondern auch den FTF bei dem Cache auf der ISS machen möchte. Dieses Ereignis wird von Groundspeak mit einer Event-Serie unterstützt. Wir treffen uns zu diesem Anlass am Abend des 6.11.2013 auf einen kurzen Plausch zwischen 18:00 und 18:30 Uhr an obiger Koordinate. Eine Möglichkeit der "Einkehr" besteht in der Nähe .
