This cache is located within Yellabinna Regional Reserve. Beautiful views of the night sky are possible from here as there is no light pollution at all. It is one of the darkest skies you can get. It is brilliant for comet hunting! Please note that this cache should only be accessed by those well set up with a 4WD, or helicopter. It is a side track from Goog’s Track, and will add at least 160km to this trip (see the geocache “Comet Goog” for more information on Goog’s track, and safety information).
The area is extremely remote and rarely visited. A satellite device or HF radio should be part of your set up. The track is extremely sandy, with plenty of tyre hungry objects.
If you intend to camp here (which you probably need to), you need a permit from the Dept. of Environment and Heritage.
Double check your thousandths if you want. Being on the road for all this time can lead to puzzlemania. Can you get the last set of digits from the comet images? Don't worry if you cant. Go to the listed coordinates and find Comet Lois! Did I just make you sweat?
