Geocache Description:

The basic idea - A Flash Mob is a large group of people who gather at a location, perform some brief action, and then quickly disperse.

BRING YOUR OWN PEN OR PENCIL . . . and put this event on your watchlist for future announcements!

Geocaching is making a return trip to the International Space Station (ISS). Yes, a geocache has already been placed on the ISS by Richard Garriott de Cayeux, alias LordBritish . . . check out the link (visit link)

NASA astronaut Rick Mastracchio will be blasting off on November 7, 2013 for his mission aboard the ISS. He will be accompanying a Russian astronaut and a Japanese astronaut on this mission.

Mastraccio's geocaching name is AstroRM. Not only will he have the privilege of being the FTF the current geocache (visit link) on the ISS when he arrives, but he will also be taking a very special TB into space with him. International Space Station Travel Bug II by the 5th Grade Class of Chase Elementary School-Waterbury, CT (visit link) is the very long name for this special TB.

Mastraccio will be using the Travel Bug as an educational tool to help teach students around the world about geography and geocaching.

Mastraccio will rocket into space on November 7, 2013 (GMT), and every geocacher who attends a Geocaching Event on November 6 or 7, 2013 will be awarded a “Geocaching in Space” souvenir.

That brings us to the event . . . A FLASH MOB EVENT!!!

Meet at GZ (parking lot at the Brantford Airport) at 6:30 p.m. SHARP!

We will listen to a couple of tunes recorded by Canadian, Colonel Chris Hadfield during his recent stay on the ISS, sign the logbook, take a group photo (maybe a FLYING PHOON!), countdown to blast off, and head out on our various missions in life . . . with one more smilie gained from attending a geocaching event!
