Geocache Description:

Pre-launch kick-off!!

Join us for lunch from 12:00pm until 1:00pm for a kick-off to the excitement.

Please indicate how many will attend in your "will attend" log so we can give Culver's a heads up if our group will be large.

**Each team is responsible for their own purchases.**

When: Wednesday, November 6th, 2013 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM

Where: Culvers in Sussex, W249 N6620 US-164, Sussex, WI

Who: All geocachers are welcome.....new to seasoned cachers.

Why: Geocaching is heading towards the International Space Station (ISS). All of geocaching? No, not all of it, but a very special little Travel Bug® named TB5JJN1 is tagging along with Nasa astronaut Rick Mastracchio on his mission to the ISS. Mastracchio will be using the Travel Bug as an educational tool to help teach students around the world about geography and geocaching. Mastraccio will Rocket into Space on November 7, 2013 @4:08(GMT)...which is November 6, 2013 @10:08PM (CST). Every geocacher who attends a Geocaching Event on November 6 or 7, 2013 will be awarded a “Geocaching in Space” souvenir.

.....AND because:
It is a reason to go to a geocaching event, a chance to go to more than one event on the same day, and an opportunity for those who cannot attend one of the evening events.

PLUS:
Enjoy lunch with fellow geocachers and share in their caching experiences and to.....
.....fuel up for some caching,
.....refuel from your morning of caching,
.....or to just have lunch with other geocachers!
Should be a fun time!

And did we mention..........You can access the Bugline Trail just down the drive from the parking lot!

******************************************************************************************************

There are over 250 caches within 5 miles of the event if you want to get in some caching and wear off your lunch after the event.

This location is also very near the Bugline Trail which goes from Merton to Menomonee Falls with caches all along the trail!
The Bugline Recreation Trail is a 14-mile trail located on the former Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul, and Pacific Railroad right-of-way.
At present, it stretches between Appleton Ave (S.T.H 175) in Menomonee Falls and Main Street (C.T.H. VV) in the Village of Merton.
Bring your bikes or go for a walk.
Here's a link where you can see the caches and length of the trail: (visit link)
