Passing the Torch Event Cache

This event is open to all geocachers, seasoned and new.  It is an indoor event don't worry about the weather. We will meet at the library in Castle Rock.

Bring your geocaching experiences and exchange stories, as welll as questions, positive feedback, and ideas to the event.

Please bring a light snack to share if you want.   We will also have a Drawing, and we will have the new GCCO 2013 geocoin.

1:00 p.m -4:00 p.m.

• Must be within 3 miles of the event
• Temporary cache hide – not listed on Geocaching
• The assigned finder takes everything from the spot
• Hiders keep the possible weather conditions in mind
• Container/contents value should be around $5
• The hide must contain no food and must be kid friendly
• No impactful hides or suspicious hides please!
• Bring the coordinates on a piece of paper, folded, with your ID and name
• Coordinates must be submitted by 3pm
• Do not share the coordinates with others
• Do not take or attempt to impact someone else’s hide
• Do not take part if you can not stay at the event to the end
• Report what you got on your log to the event!
• We suggest that you hide shortly before coming to the event
