The over-all terrain isn't too bad.. There is a large "C" trail that leads almost to the cache itself, off the main road. There is enough up/downs that we do not recommend; wheel chairs, strollers, or smaller children (age 6-9+ should be OK).. You can park with-in about 10 yards or less, of the Cache. The trail could have hidden sticks, rocks, logs, etc., under the grass & weeds, so watch your step!!!
The Cache is a small sized cammoed medicine bottle. The OK to place this cache, was given by Scott Bahmann, Ranger in Benton County.
You should watch for ticks, thorns, or poison ivy, as this is a typical Iowa forest, and anything is there, that is harmful to the human body.. Just watch your kids, pets, and your-self.. I didn't see any ivy, but this time of the year (fall), the leaves of ivy are gone, and hard to see the plant itself.
