Geocache Description:

Grandma is a really good cook! One look at Grandpa’s expanding waistline will verify this.

Grandma's Kitchen is back in business!

As members of our caching team, Grandpa, Chucky, Samson, plus Ginger & Dooney the GeoDogs have all had their own caches for a quite awhile. Grandma is long overdue for one of her own. This cache is all hers, and it highlights one of her many talents, her skills in the kitchen.

This is a theme cache, please be prepared to trade items involved in the preparation and serving and eating of meals. The cache is well stocked with many things of this nature and has room for more. It will be periodically resupplied as needed.

The cache is in a small wooded area of pines on private property. Permission is granted by the owners, Jim T. and Roger N, to park at the north dead end of Ashley Court. Do not block the drive or park on the county highway. Walk approximately 185' north along the edge of the field and into the pines.

Like many of our other Gram&Gramps caches, this one is quite large and easy to find. It is well off the ground and winter friendly. However, there may be snowbanks to climb over in the winter, and some plowing may be minimal.

Many thanks to Mr. G. for allowing the original placement of this cache! He was quite excited and helpful in getting it placed. Unfortunately he passed away suddenly and unexpectedly, and the cache needed to be relocated. Much appreciation is expressed to Roger N. for allowing us to place it nearby on his land. The cache is Grandma's, but it will forever be dedicated in memory of Mr. G - Rest in Peace, Bruce. Chucky and Dagman Jr. also helped a lot in the placing and relocating of this cache - thanks, guys.

Logging Etiquette: Geocache hiders sometimes go through a great deal of planning to place their caches. As a result, they'd like to hear your feedback on whether you liked or disliked any aspect of the hide, or if you feel that some cache maintenance is required. Single word, acronym, or emoticon logs may be easier when you have a lot of caches to log, but it doesn't tell the hider or other finders anything about your adventure (or lack thereof) in finding the cache. Please keep this in mind when entering your log.
Congrats to HideNseeker1 as the original FTF of this cache, and to BigJim60 for his FTF at the new location!
