Geocache Description:

PLEASE REMEMBER CACHE IN AND TRASH OUT

Back around 2003 my nephew, Gubbie (His geocaching Handle) left home for the University of Iowa from his home in Collinsville, IL.  That is a suburb of St Louis.  My brother, Kid Dylan had drummed into Gubbie’s head for years that the U of I was the only school to go to. Little did Kid Dylan and I know how much that would also change our lives.  Gubbie soon learned this strange activity called “geocaching” and brought it home to Kid Dylan who quickly got hooked.  He tried to explain it to me but I figured he was just having one of his spells so I just let him ramble on.  Well we met in 2004 in Brookings and he showed me a cache there and I was instantly hooked.  Out of our roughly equal number of finds we’ve probably found about 1000 together and had some great times.  I originally intended for KD to hide this one and I would maintain it but that didn’t work out.  It actually went through the 500 year flood and came through unscathed.  So not only to my brother but one of my best friends.  Here’s to ya KD.
