I grew up in this area, and return on a regular basis. After climbing up to the Uintah "U" last year, I made plans to add a letterbox to this august body of geocaches with great views.
To reach this cache, park near the designated area, then follow the steep narrow trails past the U to the cache. It is hidden in rocks, what we typically call "Arizona Style" on the southeast face of a ridge. While it is a tough climb, it should not require any equipment other than determination and a good pair of shoes.
This is a letterbox hybrid. In addition to the normal logbook and trade items, it also contains a letterbox stamp, inkpad, and stamp book. Please do not remove the stamp, ink pad, or stamp book. THEY ARE NOT TRADE ITEMS!
