Fushimi Inari Taisha -The summit of Mt. Inari- Traditional Geocache

Fushimi Inari Taisha is Shinto Shrine for prosperous business and productiveness of grain, was dadicated in 711.

The cashe is located in Ichinomine on the summit of Mt. Inari. You can get there from Fushimi Inari Taisha main shrine, Tofuku temple area or Yamashina ward. If you are visitor, I recommend you to choose the way from Fushimi Inari Taisha main shrine. The elevation of Mt. Inari is 233m and hike up 4km to there from Fushimi Inari Taisha main shrine. There are many Torii gates on the way to top of the mountain. Can you see fox family there?

There are many steps to go there so you don't need to wear trekking shoes but good shoes recommended.
