Geocache Description:

Quick C & D off Rt. 405.  There is a gravel parking on the north side of the underpass that accesses the river.  Container is large enough to hold a few small items.  Find GZ, face bridge and walk 20 paces to cache site. Had to adjust the coordinates so the map didn't show site on Rt. 80 bridge.

Trolls are supernatural beings who live in isolated, undesirable areas and are rarely helpful to humans.  The large stones scattered about are all that is left of an old Troll scared by the townspeople ringing church bells.  He or she (it is hard to tell) ran into the sunlight and was turned to stone.  This is mostly Scandinavian folklore.  John Bauers illustration in Bland Tomtar och Troll, a 1912-1915 Swedish fairy tale, shows they are not all bad.
