Bird Island Cache Traditional Cache

This cache is meant for the adventurous geocacher, someone who really likes a challenge and is game for something new. The magic of this cache lies in the remoteness and the fact that no one ever really visits this location. Before you attempt to find this cache, just a hint... plan a little before hand, you might need something to keep you a float until you reach the island ;)

History

Bird Island was conceived and constructed by Adolf Winter, a German who emigrated to South West Africa (now known as Namibia) in 1912. 

The cache is not at the precise location of the coordinates, it is however within 15m radius of the coordinates. The cache contains an antique item, it would be prefferable if the founder swapped the item with something of similar value. If you cant replace the item, just leave it as is and log your name in the booklet inside ;)
