Demon Dentist is written by one of geotween's favourite authors, David Walliams, who has been touted as the next Roald Dahl.

When the town’s dentist dies by “accidently” tripping and stabbing himself in the heart with a dentistry tool, a new dentist comes to the town but she is very strange. She comes to Alfie’s school to give a talk about being a dentist, but gives him a toothpaste that he later finds out burns through stone. He and his friend Gabz decide to find out more about this mysterious new dentist. They find out that she would take the teeth that children left under their pillows and leave them something like a pig’s eyeball. Alfie is forced to go to the dentist by his social worker and get all of his teeth taken out. He decides to try to catch the dentist, Miss Root, in the act of stealing a tooth. He does not have any teeth left so he asks his newsagent Raj for one. At first he resists but in the end he gives in. Alfie almost succeeds in catching Miss Root but she gets away. She then catches Alfie’s friend Gabz and takes her into her underground lair. Alfie decides to go after Miss Root and gets caught too. Miss Root dangled them over a cauldron full of her toothpaste (which can burn through stone). Alfie’s father comes along in a train and knocks her and her cat Fang into the cauldron. But Miss Root and Fang do not die, they just come out as skeletons and continues to terrorise the children. Alfie’s dad saves the day but he had to give up his life for the safety of the town.
