This cache has been archived.

Skookum Bear: As the cache owner has not indicated that they have visited the cache location to replace it if it was missing, perform needed maintenance, or verify that it is still there within a reasonable amount of time, I am regretfully archiving the cache to clear it from the active cache database and open the area to new caching opportunities. If the cache owner would like to replace a cache at this location, please submit a new geocache listing and it will be reviewed under the current Geocaching guidelines.

Please do not respond to this note by sending an email reply - your response will go to an unmonitored location and disappear into the ether instead of being sent to me. If you need to contact me regarding this cache, please do so using the link on my Profile Page

Geocache Description:

This is a seven-stage mystery tour that will take you on a stroll to interesting spots around English Bay, an iconic beach in downtown Vancouver.

This is the 4th in my series of mystery tours.  See GC1MPG9, GC1K2NN and GC4VMFJ for mystery tours in Vancouver’s Granville Market, Whistler, and Puerto Vallarta respectively.

This cache can and should be done on foot and will take about an hour but we recommend that you allow lots of extra time to enjoy the many sights and sounds. Bring a pen and a print-out for the simple arithmetic involved in the clues. There is parking available at the first stage.

The cache is a small container. It is capable of holding the log and perhaps one small travel bug. Bring a pen or pencil to sign the log. And please return the cache to its hiding place exactly as you found it.

All waypoints are N 49 and W 123. Where you see brackets below, simply find the number in the brackets and use its digits in the co-ordinates: for example, 17.2[12+19+4] would become 17.235.
