We are bound by a hobby that some shake their heads at, but it takes us to some of the greatest places on earth. We find in our adventures that we forge friendships along the way. Come join us as we build fantastic friendships with Irish cachers and geocachers who are visiting Dublin for the holiday from other parts of the world.
For 2014 MaxB on the River with Traveling Troubadour Cruises & Tours has brought a tour group of geocachers from the USA to visit Ireland and experience St. Patrick’s Day in Dublin. For most of our group, this is their first trip to Ireland or overseas and in particular to geocache.
Our bucket list is exciting and includes:
- Attend an event and make new friends
- Trade Pathtags and Travel Bugs
- Find Europe’s First cache GC43
- Have our picture taken at “Gardiner’s Treat” Webcam and visit other great caches in Dublin
- Visit Hook’s Head Lighthouse caches
- Cache during a carriage ride at Killarney and along the Ring of Kerry.
- End our trip at the “Cliffs of Moher” Earthcache.
