Geocachers are invited to come to this free Slam-N-Jam Event Cache from 3:00pm to 5:00pm! Anyone is welcome to attend this event (and earn a smiley by logging the event). It will be a great way to meet fellow geocachers! We will play geo-bingo (with award swag) and discuss the Oregon Park District series and other local caches. Free granola bars, trail mix, and beverages will be available at the Event Cache. Attending the other Slam-N-Jam events, even if only to watch, is encouraged for a day full of fun! Oregon Park District’s Slam-N-Jam is a FREE annual event for everyone! This event is held at Oregon Park West, a 58.47 acre park offering restrooms, picnic shelters, an amphitheater, trails, playgrounds, tennis courts, soccer fields, basketball courts, baseball and softball fields, a splash pad, and much more. FOOD! A variety of food vendors will be available on site (for cash purchase)! Pizza, dogs, waffle cones, and ice cream will be just some of the options! All day long there will be someone sitting in the pitch burst! Three pitches for $1.00! 10:00am – 12:00pm - This is a FREE hands-on event where kids and adults can explore their favorite big trucks, heavy equipment, and large vehicles. 12:00pm – 3:00pm - For only $10.00 a team of two, ages 18 and up, can participate in a bags tournament. 8:00am – For only $20.00 a team of two, ages 16 and up, can participate in a doubles tennis tournament. 9:00am – 7:00pm - For only $60.00 a coed team (limited to 10 players) can participate in the Miss Mal Volleyball Tournament at the sand volleyball courts. 3:00pm - A celebrity softball game will be played by local celebrities vs. the Oregon women’s alumni softball team.
