The fourteenth " A Brew with a View" event, at various remote but scenic locations.
Meet up at the given co-ordinates at 12.00 hrs Sunday 16th March 2014, for a drink with some great views (not always guaranteed) and a good chat about tupperware (always guaranteed), finish at 12.30hrs.
Elevation - 1,827 ft (557 metres)
The idea of these events is part of an ongoing Jurassic Parkinson's quest to encourage Geoachers up them there hills, our New years resolution last year was "Quality not Quantity" that theme continues. We are selecting remote rarely visited locations with some great views, with a different location planned for each month.
This is probably one of the easiest locations we have selected for a BWAV event, but it's been selected at the request of a colleague for a landmark cache.
You will need to bring your own flask of tea/coffee, and for some a Jet boil or MSR stove.
This location is fairly remote, exposed to the elements and can be very boggy in winter so not wanting to teach some to suck eggs but a sturdy pair of boots, gaiters, waterproofs etc are recommended.
Please note that the co-ordinates are out slightly, I've done this so as not to completely cover the Earthcache icon on the map, but basically we will meet at the trig point.
