Come join us as we spruce up our adopt a road section and spend time with local cachers- a great opportunity to put names to those logs, share caching tips and plan caching adventures. And possibly find a few caches in the neighborhood after. The event will take place rain, shine or fog. You will need to dress for any possible type of weather. Rubber gloves, bags, grabbers and colored vests will be supplied by the City of Salem. Bring garden gloves for yourself, if you wish. Hats and sunscreen are also recommended.
We plan to meet at the posted coordinates Saturday morning at 10 AM, and anticipate this clean-up to take up to 2 hours, depending. Sometimes it's closer to an hour. And we will have a raffle of caching goodies for anyone who stays to the end. Geocachers of all ages and abilities are encouraged to participate.
We do have a couple of sections with sidewalks that would safer for the young cachers to clean. With parental supervision, of course.
