CITO and take in the view! Cache In Trash Out® Event

This cache has been archived.

Slyatslys: Thanks to everyone who attended this event, I took a large sack of rubbish home and much more was deposited in the local bins. It was good to meet up and chat to everyone.

NOTE: The last trackable (Game on!) is with the Coachman's Pair who don't have a phone line, and therefore internet access, at the moment since lightening hit the church which they live next to. Once their internet is restored they will sort out the log.

Geocache Description:

EARN THE 2014 CITO SOUVENIR

A family-friendly litter-picking event in an area with great views to support the CITO weekend -26th April 09:00-10:00.

This years CITO weekend is the 26th and 27th April 2014 and everyone who logs an “Attended” at a Cache In Trash Out (CITO) Event earns this year’s CITO souvenir for their Geocaching profile.

This event (my first one) starts in the Prospect, a lovely flat family-friendly public area with great views out over the Wye and with views of Wilton Castle etc, on the 26th April meeting between 9am and 10am and could be followed by a chance to move off down John Kyrle's Walk, over to Dean Hill Park or off into Ross and catch up with any caches that you need to do or just to visit one of the numerous Coffee shops!

This is a great chance for a bit of a social and trackable swapping; lets hope the weather is good! Please come prepared with suitable gloves, footwear and clothing to deal with the weather and I will bring some bags.

This area is wheelchair accessible from the small car park shown and there is plenty of on-street (free) parking here too.
