Geocache Description:

TIME FOR A GARDEN PARTY

VENUE:

EAST STREET, HIBALDSTOW, SATURDAY 5TH JULY

You are all invited to an afternoon, evening and night of fun, games, chat and partying. The event is open to all Geocachers who wish to come.

It started as a housewarming party 11 years ago and now every so often I hold a party to celebrate summer.

So this year LT and myself have decided it is time to hold a Geocaching Event, followed by a Fun for All Party

The Geocaching Event proper will officially start at 13.00 hrs and close at 15.00 hrs, but you can then stay on and take the opportunity to relax and enjoy friendly company until the last guest departs.

It is open to all and will cater for children and adults alike.

Besides the games, there will be a proper old fashioned Treasure Hunt, quizzes, bouncy castle, disco, karaoke and plenty of fun. Ample opportunity to discuss our favourite hobby and pass advice onto newbies.

It is thought that  by this date there will be well over 100 established caches set around Hibaldstow and Scawby, so if you need to get the odd cache there are plenty of opportunities.

The disco and karaoke will be undercover, which doubles for a place to bed down later if required and by using other arrangements there will also be cover, should any unexpected showers arrive.

I will supply the soft drinks, jacket potatoes with fillings and there will be barbeque equipment available should you wish to cook. We will have Hot dogs and Hot soup to take the chill off later in the evening.

Please bring your own food and drinks and be prepared to share stories and food/drink around the fire as the night goes on.

The First to Find will probably awarded by virtue of winning one of the quizzes.

Parking is available near by on East Street, Church Street or on the Village Hall Car park, which is about 5 minutes walk away. Note the terrain in my garden is flat and thus wheelchair/buggy friendly.
