Geocache Description:

Cache In, Trash Out Event: This is the 1st CITO event to be held in Williams Park.  Brownsburg Parks Department is hosting the event.  The event is planned to help meet Tree City USA goals as well as keep trash out of our parks and waterways.  The event is Saturday, April 12th.  Join us planting trees and cleaning up along trails in various areas of the park.

Posted coordinates are for the gathering area.  Please check-in for a small meet and greet.  We'll meet at the posted coordinates at 10am to pick up equipment, receive instructions, and get coordinates/directions to the various planting sites.  Participants will be provided a tulip tree (while supplies last) with coordinates to be used for the planting location. Trash bags and disposable gloves will be supplied.  Please bring trash grabbers & shovels if you have them.  Heavy duty gloves are always helpful and highly recommended.

Be sure to wear the appropiate clothing and footwear.  The planting & clean-up sites may be muddy-especially if it rains the week prior to the event.  This park does have a walking path on a level surface as well as a heavily wooded trail with steep inclines.  There are several caches of various difficulty ratings within the park.

Please note in your "Will Attend" how many members will be in your group so we can can plan accordingly.

Schedule of events:
