Geocache Description:

Lamprey Pass Wildlife Management Area. This cache can be difficult to get to, especially depending on the season.

Take the frontage road to the West of 35, and north of Lake Drive. Go past the Park-N-Ride and follow the dirt road north to the very end. The "No Parking" signs mean that no vehicles may park "in the park area", but may park in the dirt parking lot at the end of the road. The land to the south is posted, but the cache is to the north-west of the parking lot. If hunting season is open then you must wear blaze orange.

The cache is .54 miles from the parking lot at the end of the dirt road and you will go through open fields, woods, and swampy areas, but you're always on high ground (depending on how you go). Bring drinking water with you.

The dirt road from Lake Drive to the parking lot is closed to vehicles in the spring time but still accesable on foot. Please obey the "No Trespassing" signs along the west side of the dirt road. From the parking area at the end of the road to the cache you'll be on public land.
