The Williamson Valley Road Series is a Friends of Morgan Ranch Nature Park history project. Even numbered caches are on the E side of the Rd; odd on the W for 44 mi. WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU WORK 1 SIDE OF THE ROAD AT A TIME. Please pick up trash so the neighborhood trash-pickers are not drawn to the location.
Prescott In 1863, the Territory of Arizona was formed from the Territory of New Mexico. Prescott was established in 1864. That same year, the legislature passed "an Act to Incorporate the Mojave and Prescott Toll Road Company." From 1866 to 1871, freighters, civilians, and military traveled from the Colorado River to Prescott along the 165-mile-long renamed Hardyville Toll Road.
