This cache offers quick easy access to truckers and tourists coming from and going to all points of the map. On US 60, with Interstates 55, 57 and 24 all nearby, this is a prime spot for a quick stop and a smiley.
Nestled comfortably beneath a cute, quaint little fir tree next to a sturdy, protective rock and watched over by the guardian spirit horse, the cache should be an easy find to add to your traveling adventure.
While you are here visit a near by cache (Lewis and Clark 1st Steps into Louisiana Purchase) with lots of information about the history of Mississippi County and the Corps of Discovery, or stop in and say Hi to Wallace who started this whole thing off with a little watermelon stand and can often be found holding court and greeting people personally at the front doors.
Please stay in the front of the building. There is no reason to go behind the building and the owner requests that people stay in the front at all times.
