This cache is located along the farthest West border of the BlackHawk Wildlife Area. Please remember to practice CITO as you are visiting the park. There are old trails/truck paths that will lead you close to the cache. Be cautious of your location, there are bluffs overlooking the Maquoketa River near the cache. The cache, however is in a safe location. This is a long scenic walk through this awesome area and I would advise you to bring a camera, water, walking stick and to take your time to enjoy the natural treasures.
Please remember that all caches in the Jackson County Conservation Areas are CITO locations.
