After a while, crocodile!
Life is full of twists and turns. You never really know what to expect! Our big twist this year is a move from Denver to Washington, DC in June. We will be moving right back to Denver in April or May of 2015, so you haven't got rid of us entirely just yet! But we will be gone for almost a year, and we will miss all of our friends here in the area while we are living in our nation's capital. So we are hosting this event to say farewell, until we meet again! We are looking forward to our upcoming adventures in DC, with new geocaches, lots of history, plenty of museums, and of course new friends to be had. We will host another event when we get back next year as well.
Aqua Vista park is a lovely place, with a playground, a big open grassy field, and a gazebo. What it doesn't have is a public restroom, so plan accordingly! We will be set up in the gazebo with popsicles, chalk, bubbles, maybe some balls or other sports equipment, and light snacks. We will also provide several prizes for a free drawing (hopefully a GCCO coin, along with some kid-friendly prizes and at least a few ready to place containers). We hope to see a lot of our friends here!
When you write your Will Attend note, please tell us if you or one of your party is a mom, and we will have a little something for you or them as well, since May 11th is Mother's Day!
