Geocache Description:

If doing this caching series in winter best to start with Cravedale & work back towards The Whaling Station. The path from Hushinish out to Cravedale is a loosely defined path is prone to being wet, mucky & quite a challenge for the less experienced hill walker. Suitable walking boots & waterproofs required. This series will also take a good 7 hours to complete, maybe more so bear in mind when planning your day.

Rumoured to be an old Gamekeepers lodge of the local estate, also an important staging point for those travelling to scarp in times gone by, the cottage is now in private hands.  A fantastic spot with much to explore
