The next in my Evil Monkey Series, thought I'd try something different this time around. I enjoy high terrain caching and everyone complains about my puzzles, so figured it was time to put out a different type of hair-pulling fun! Welcome to my Evil Monkey Series, some climbing required. These will all range from 3.5-5 on terrain and all will require climbing. If you are not comfortable with and/or feel unable to safely, please don't attempt them as they are not for everyone. I hope to find ways and places to discourage the use of "helper" tools and actually require you to climb, you've been warned.
Red was trying to escape from that big, bad wolf when she found herself in Mirror Lake SP. Parking her bike at the posted coordinates, she quickly (but safely) crossed Hastings Road and headed out onto the Hastings Bike Trail. Red being in such a hurry didn't bother to check out the map near the start, but if you look and go with the flow then your journey will be much quicker and easier. Over the hills and through the woods went Red just as fast as her feet could carry her. Eventually she arrived at a break in the trail. Unsure which direction she should go, she sat for just a minute to catch her breath. This is when she spotted a way to leave a clue for her rescuers. Once you see what she saw, use it to decipher the attached photo and head off to her hidey hole somewhere over the RAINBOW. Unfortunately for Red, the wolf had a couple of cousins along and in the end she got herself treed. When you arrive to GZ, just look for her hood and help the poor girl out!
