This flashmob is part of the Geocaching WWFM XI. It's time to dust off your Christmas decorations and costumes as we celebrate Christmas in June. Yes! June.
The event starts at 18:00 and will end at precisely 18:15.
At this time events all around the world will take place hopefully breaking last year’s record attendance of 25125 people.
The location for the flash is the bandstand within Clifton Park, near the centre of Rotherham.
You are required to arrive a few minutes early and inconspicuously loiter around the park until 6PM I will approach the bandstand.
This is your queue to join me for 15 minutes only, during this time I will count the numbers and take a group photo. When the 15 minutes are up we must all disperse and leave the immediate area without a trace. Please attend in your best Christmas gear.
A prize will be given for the best efforts.
I will bring an event meal.
There are a few caches nearby for your enjoyment before or after the event.
