This cache is placed in the once home of The Bridges of Mounds View Golf Course. Opened in 1995, this 9-hole course featured generous fairways and mostly flat greens. There was water hazards on six holes including the always challenging 182 yard, par 3, 9th hole that required a tee shot over water to hit the green.
Unfortunately this course was one of Minnesota's most short-lived golf courses. The land was deemed more valuable then the money the golf course could bring in and was closed in the mid-2000's. The memories live on though as the clubhouse still stands in a new location of off Long Lake Road and Ridge Lane in Mounds View. This cache is dedicated to the memory of that golf course.
