CHEMIN DE CROIX
Dans la tradition Catholique, le chemin de croix (via crucis) est un acte dévotionnel privé ou communautaire. Tout en commémorant la Passion du Christ en évoquant 14 moments particuliers de celle-ci (certains issus de la tradition et non rapportés dans les écrits bibliques) le fidèle souhaite recevoir la grâce de communier intensement aux souffrances du Christ, Sauveur des hommes.

WAY OF THE CROSS
In the Catholic tradition, the Way of the Cross (Via Crucis) is a private or community devotional act. While commemorating the Passion of Christ by referring to particular times 14 thereof (some based on tradition and not reported in the bible) the faithful wishes to receive the grace of communion intensely the suffering of Christ, the Saviour of men.
The Way of the Cross in Lalouvesc consists of fourteen crosses, made of wood, which have received a special blessing. They are placed at intervals to mark a path that we can really go.
