Yet another locationless cache that can be logged from anywhere. This cache is dedicated to all those who were discriminated against.
To log this cache you must find a monument/plaque/whatever that honors a person or persons who were treated unjustly due to some form of discrimination or prejudice. This would include (but is not limited to) the treatment of Jews during the Holocaust, the treatment of Native Americans, anything dealing with Slavery, the incarceration of Japanese-Americans during WWII, etc.
Hopefully you'll find this one easier to log than Memorials - The Fallen (GC5182) as I'm guessing there are more monuments of this type out there. If you have any doubts about what counts and what doesn't please email me before logging the cache.
Again to log this cache you must:
- Post a picture of you and your GPS next to the monument
- Post the coordinates of the monument
- Give a detailed description of the monument and/or the person(s) it is for
Each location can be logged only once, and each person can log this cache only once.
I don't have an example log for this as there is a monument close to where I live that I want to leave for others to log. For an example please see my log on GC5182.
In case you're wondering the location of this cache is an old CCC camp near the California/Oregon border that was also used as an internment camp and POW prison during WWII. It cannot be logged because no monument exists at the site. For a history of the area go here.
