To celebrate their milestone, the 100th cache placed by Team Marzipan was called The Mother Cache (GC15RYZ). The object of The Mother Cache is for finders to take one of the ready-prepared caches, BUT ONLY if they are going to hide it as a Daughter Cache.
I found out about the Mother Cache several years ago, by finding a daughter cache, but only recently did I finally visit it.
I found the Mother Cache during the middle weekend of the French Open, and decided to take this Daughter Cache as a fitting tribute. The Daughter Cache unfortunately only made it as far as the semi finals, so her nickname will be "Eugenie Bouchard".
The cache is located on a public footpath, which lies on what used to be the road between Littleworth (an area of Woodseaves) and the Mill, just north east of High Offley. People from Littleworth and Woodseaves would use this road to take their grain to the Mill. Nowadays, it is merely a public bridleway, and a public footpath branches off here, leading towards High Offley.
Some nice views are to be had from here - for example over towards High Offley church and the Wrekin.
Please bring a pen, there is no room in the cache for a writing implement.
A big thanks to Team Marzipan!
