We have booked the "Tribal Pavillion" in Camping area D for this Spectacular Fall Event on Lake TomBigBee.

  • Pavilion is in Area D & has been reserved for Saturday ONLY.
  • VISITORS without reservations will be charged $6/carload/day by the Campground.
  • Watch for 100 New Caches & 200 new Munzees along Hwy 190 and the surrounding area before OctoberFest.

    Cache Container Contest
    We want to thank everyone who helped make our previous Cache Container Contests such a success.
    So, gather your caching contraband and start thinking like a Mad Scientist to create that killer cache container for the Octoberfest 2014 Cache Container Contest.

    There will once again be two Categories:
    1) Most Creative: Imaginative, interesting, cute -- overall creative in design and execution.
    2) Most Challenging: Evil, difficult, well-camoed -- overall challenging in design and execution.
    Awards and prizes will be presented to 1st - 3rd place in each catagory.
    Of course, there is also that intangible reward: Peer Recognition!

    Guidelines:
    • All entries must be received by 11 a.m. Saturday, October 18th.
    • No late entries will be accepted.
    • Each entry will be permitted for one category.
    • There is no limit on the number of entries.
    • All entries must be new, not previously hidden or entered in our previous contest caches.
    • Containers must be ready to hide, including a weather-proof log
    • Name your cache but do NOT put your name on it.
    • All cache containers entered become property of the Contest.
    • Winners will be announced after lunch on Saturday.
    • The winning containers will be auctioned
    • Contest entrants are eligible to win more than one prize.
    • Contest entrants are eligible to bid on the winning containers.
    • Contest entrants are eligible to win containers as door prizes.
    • Containers will be on display in the Event Pavilion as entries are received.
    • You need not be present to win, but it is preferred.
