Lean on me when you're not strong
And I'll be your friend
I'll help you carry on
For it won't be long
'Til I'm gonna need somebody to lean on
We all need someone to lean on from time to time, and this challenge cache should hopefully help you meet new people that you might be able to call upon in your time of need.
The cache is hidden at the posted coordinates, but your challenge is to find this with a fellow cacher who has also not found this previously that you have never met before. You could do this as a pair, or a larger group, but at least one member of the group must be "new" to the others before planning to find this. (Obviously those who cache as a group under a single username can be together, but they must be joined with at least one other cacher that they all have never met before.) Teamwork is not specifically required for the cache retrieval, but is a requirement of the challenge. Four star difficulty rating is based on a combination of the challenge and a hopefully tricky hide.
There are lots of ways you could meet your new friend(s). Attend a local event and look for a new face. Ask around on one of the Facebook groups. Post a note on this page and see who responds. Maybe just hang around at GZ until someone who you don't know starts walking towards you with a GPSr!
When you log your find, please state who you were with, how you met them and if you feel so inclined, a photo of you together would really add to the sense of community (but this last request is optional of course).
Barring some obvious exceptions, I have no way of knowing that what you say is true or not, so it would be rare for me to disqualify any logs, but I do hope you participate in this challenge in the way it was intended to be played. If you're looking for loopholes to qualify, you're doing it wrong!
Note: Please extract the cache from its hiding place gently, open the container by pushing from underneath the lid and not by pulling from the top, to avoid breaking off the camo and don't push it back in too deep. Gently does it with this one. Very little force required at any stage. Thanks!
