Denny's, Friday, July 18, 0800 hours

Roadtrip!


On or about June 20 KYOrphan and Airraidfan discussed a possible road trip to 'get some states' and maybe Alaska. So we casually checked airfares from Seattle to Fairbanks and spotted....$252.00! Some quick phone calls were made and dates agreed upon and reservations were made. BAM!

So, here we come!


Well, ok, we have 2,700 miles to drive to make our flight, but we hope to be on time. So c'mon out and meet the Kentuckians at Denny's, 0800 hours, July 18 2014. We have some questions about The Dalton Highway at latitude 66.33!

Another roadtrip!


This can't possibly be as easy as it looks. So we need some experienced advice. Coldfoot Camp vs. Boreal Lodge? Road conditions? Wet weather washouts? Long sleeves? Time Atigun Pass? Must-do caches? Gas prices? (currently $3.99 in Louisville), mosquito repellent recommendation?


We have 72 hours to make our return flight, so we at least want to get.....

..here (and did)!
