You will be looking for information from three headstones to find the final coordinates to a small clear lock-n-lock type container with a log and pencil. The container is located outside the cemetery.
The mid 1800's Buckner Cemetery is located on a hill near the abandoned Empire Farm. It measures roughly 302 feet by 60 feet. Sixty-seven graves have been marked with concrete blocks and only three legible gravestones remain intact.
You will need to park at the coordinates provided, then make your trek up the hill. There is no define path and the hill is overgrown with small saplings about ankle to knee high. The coordinates will take you to the sign for Buckner cemetery. Once there find the three head stones: one stands alone and the other two belong to a brother and a sister.
For the final coordinates fill in the missing information: N36° 54.01X W88° 0.YZ8
1) LOUIE BUCKNER: X = add the first two digits of the year of his death
2) HARRISON BUCKNER: Y = the number that represents the month he died
(example: 1 = January, 12 = December)
3) MARY ANN BUCKNER: Z = the number that represents the month she died
CHECKSUM = X + Y + Z = 22
